Moonlight in Vermont is an independent publisher committed to celebrating erotic literature. Our goal is to discover and encourage writers for our publication of a romantic erotic anthology. The contest rules are as follows:
Stories should be a maximum of 3,000 words. They may be submitted ONLINE ONLY.
Stories may cover any topic, however, please include only sex positive scenes. No level of explicitness is required, but erotic interaction must take place and this means sex.
Stories will not be accepted that contain non-consensual, violent, or abusive sex or any scenes in which women are treated in a disrespectful manner.
Stories will not be accepted with improper spelling or grammar.
Stories must be original and previously unpublished.
You may use a pseudonym or pen name if you wish, however you must provide your real name for the purpose of the competition to Moonlight in Vermont.
You must be age 18 or over to enter.
All stories must have a title.
You may submit a maximum of three stories.
The work will be judged by the employees of Moonlight in Vermont Publications. They will be looking for high quality fiction writing with original ideas, complex characters and plots, intriguing sex scenes, and conflict resolution. Please no blow-by-blow sexual descriptions.
Do not send a novel. This is a short story contest only.
If your story is a winner, it will be published in the Moonlight in Vermont?s Moonlight & Kisses Anthology for $50-100 depending on length. Rights to the ten winning stories will be exclusive to Moonlight in Vermont Publications. The company also reserves the right to publish the story on its own website and the right to archive the stories on the site indefinitely.

Please ensure your entry does not contain html tags or excessive formatting. Only typed and single spaced entries will be accepted.
All entries must include a signed author declaration (see below) in the body of the email.
